Paola Ferri, born in Rome in 1978.
Berlin based artist and art teacher active in Berlin since 2012.
Before moving to Berlin I taught in atelier / schools in Rome.
In 2012, I grounded and now lead, the Berlin School of Drawing ( born Berlindrawing ) an art school project in Kreuzberg.
I also teach drawing, illustration, art history and painting in other schools and private studios.
In Rome, I attended the Academy of Arts in Rome for 5 years by the artist Gino Marotta, practicing and learning the academic approach to classical masters techniques.
During those years I developed a deep love for art and especially for oil painting, drawing and figure drawing, engraving and art history.
My teaching is oriented on the methods of old classical masters, with all the techniques connected to it. I am very passionate about art and about transmitting it to anyone, from beginners to artists willing to deepen / improve techniques.
